Advice needed.

Hi all,
I recently bought a Technomate 5200 sat receiver, with the intention of installing a motorised system. Although i did'nt need permission to install another dish at my home, i did need to inform the local council, Now i know i can only have a dish upto 100cm in size, where i can and can't put it. The Advice i'm after is the motor, Now maplin do these motors, but ive heard they're garbage, I was just wondering if anyone on here has had problems with maplin bought sat equipment.

Maplin does not have a good reputation for Satellite gear - especially Motors!

Get yourself a Moteck SG2100 or a Technomate 2300 (or 2600) from the Forum Sponsors or eBay.
 
The motors supplied by aforementioned company are clones, turner for example. Had a few go down supplied by customers but would certainly recommend the TM2600 metal drive.
 
Thanks for the advice guy's it's really appreciated.

I managed to get a Technomate 2300 motor, 100cm Orbital dish, Brackets, Mast and all the fixings.

Hopefully putting it up first thing Saturday morning, weather permitting, I'm not expecting it to be a doddle, probably lots of trial and error lol, I'll post some pictures before and after.
