Hi,

I am in the Canaries and curently have Asta 1 & 2, Eurobird 1, Nilesat and Hotbird. Was wondering if there is any other satellite people could recommend that has good FTA English language progs. Don´t want to go more than 1.5m for my next dish (unless channel really is that good!).

Bush HD freesat & 2 modified 2nd hand Technomate boxes. 43 & 1000cm dishes, selection of lnb's & couple of motor. Desktop computer, windows XP home. BT slowband. Used (£7) digital camera from charity shop.

I see that you get nilesat. Have you scanned 26east for english spoken programmes?

motorized Gibertini 85cm, fixed dishes from 1m to 64cm, generic FTA HD RX, TBS DVB-S2 PC card, a pile of bits and pieces

Motorize a 1.2m or 1.5m and you should be covered for any new services without having to fiddle about with the dish.
