I recently ordered something from WoS and then received several progress report emails. Then, each time I logged in to follow up on one of those emails, I found that I was apparently then in the process of ordering ANOTHER one of the same thing as that had "magically" appeared in my Shopping Cart, and so I had to deliberately delete it!

I know that sales staff/software need to be "pro-active" but this is taking that approach just a little TOO far! :-doh
(PS: I have raised a Ticket with them, but, until they fix this issue, be careful or you might find yourself buying more than you wanted!)

Does that mean you have a pallet-load of "Edisons" coming? (or going?)

Yes, CH, that was the point of the parentheses ...... qv other discussion where I ribbed JE several times for calling it an Edison. Do try to keep up!
 
PS: I think we have "diverged" from the main point of my original post :D
 
Well, might I venture to suggest the "Cart" remains populated until the order has actually been fulfilled? It's not easy to visualise within seeing the order page "in the flesh", so to speak.

Tomorrow morning, I will try to re-create and illustrate the sequence of events with screen shots - unless, of course, WoS have "fixed" the problem by then(???).

Are World Of Satellite still forum sponsors, I noticed the other day that they no longer have sponsor status under their avatar, their status is shown as "Regular Member"?

I had absolutely no bother when I ordered something on Sunday night..
