apologies for the stupid question, but I just bought a DM800 after a couple of years out of the sat game, can I use an official Al Jazeera card in the DM800 ?


Will it work straight out of the box or will i need to flash it ?
 
Choose from a variety of images out there for the dm800. As for the jsc card cccam will read it in the box. Check the tut on how to flash your 800.

I have now flashed the dreambox with the Enigma 2, blackhole, Dream elite 1.33d V3, sim 2.01, pheonix edition image, and installed CCCam 2.21

However it doesnt seem to recognise the aljazeera card. When i go into the cam menu it says it doesnt recognise the card.

Any suggestions?
 
dont use cccam 2.2.1 back to older + this card is specific try activate using Scam then use Cccam [unless u are oscam fan] but u can have lot problems with whole JSC mainly they switched off english tracks [not on all channels] and u can have also blackscreens too u can expect more sich crap
 
cccam 2.1.3 reads jsc fine on my duo.

I don't think cccam will activate the card, I activated mine using mgcamd then switch back to cccam if you need to..
 
False mgcamd is just emu it will not read card as lonely u have to connect it with other cam
