Al Jazeera Sports Channels

I have been looking online about the possibility of purchasing an Al Jazeera Sports card for the next 12 months from July. I have never purchased any foreign viewing card before and have a few questions i hope someone can answer me.
Firstly i realise i will have to buy a cam as my satellite receiver has a cam slot. Does it matter if i buy a viaccess cam or irdeto cam and also is it safe to buy the cam on ebay as ive seen the cams on there for around £25
Secondly with the viewing card again does it matter if i go for viaccess or irdeto and again how safe are they to buy on ebay. The card which gives sports channels +1 till +8 is around £74 and if you want the +9 and +10 its around £94.
I like the sports al jazeera are showing but im not sure how to buy, what equipment and where to buy the cam and card. I have already got an lnb pointing at 13 east.
When i have bought a cam do i just insert it into the receiver or do i have to do anything else to the receiver.
Apologises for so many questions. Finally does people on here think in their opinions if al jazeera sports is worth the money.

I've been a Aljazeera Sport subscriber for a little over two & half years so can advise you mate. I would suggest the Irdeto card & CAM, If you have a receiver with a patched multi CAS card reader you might not even need the CAM. If you want to keep it simple & just buy a Irdeto CAM I would recommend the SmarDTV made one, not the Smit (Chinese Garbage in my opinion) made one which will be slightly cheaper. Once you have viewing card & CAM all you have to do is make sure you put the viewing card facing the correct way up in the CAM & then place the CAM into the receivers CAM slot (It will only fit in one way here so you cant go wrong) normally encryption label facing up.
 
Where is the best place to purchase an irdeto al jazeera sports card. And also how much would it cost roughly. I see on ebay they only have viaccess encryption viewing cards

I use the viaccess card and I got mine from ebay and never had a problem. It might take some time to activate the card but the dealer should do this for you. The only thing I would say about jsc is that the picture quality isn't always as good as the European broadcasters but was great coverage of the champions league. I watched it in preference to sky and ITV. The pre match stuff - all in English. Definitely worth the money
