My Satellite Setup
A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

At one point, the dish was finding good signal in 0,8W, in 28,2E, and also in 12,5W. But then signal in 24,5W was rather poor and no signal at all in 30W. My old traix 110 with motor stab was able to find decent signal at the same time in all those satellites, so there should be signal out there, hopefully improved by the gibertini. What do you think the problem could be?

A quick growing tree ?

No, no trees, everything clear. Hopefully tomorrow we will find out what is wrong.

Why not copy your settings from your working dish (inclination, declination, elevation, etc...) and fine tune the allignement on the new dish?

why not set the dih up for Intelsat on 1deg West? The dish should look almost straight to the south. Then fine tune all the settings. If your polarmount is working okay it should be aligned properly.

It was an aligment problem with inclination and elevation. Now working very well. It is a very powerful dish! Very happy with signal %.

Just hope it will cope with wind&storms. Thanks.

What coverage of the arc are you getting? I'll be interested to compare marginal signals at some point as you are quite close.
