The Allente (Scandinavian) package which was running on both 5E and 1W as a result of a merger has ended. The package is only on Thor 1W now, the former home of Canal Digital. 300,000 customers had to have their dishes realigned over the past year. As a result there are a ton of empty transponders on 5E now, where the former Viasat has left.

they started like 18 o'clock yesterday and ca 18:23 most of transponders were off.

I would guess that's where the ageing Astra 4A's transponders will go to sooner or later.
