I loved 'Allo 'Allo to bits and even went to see the touring version when it came to Liverpool.
Gorden had a terrible accident at one point when a shaft of some kind went into his skull. Things were touch-and-go for a while but he pulled through. When he returned to the series he had scar running across his forehead.
RIP Gorden.
