That was amazing. Reminds me of the Overseer here getting miffed calling Alexa stupid for not knowing the basics in English history.

I bought 2 of these Echo Dots, I don't use them and they annoyingly go off randomly.
I use the bedroom one as an alarm clock or to listen to Radio 4 when I try to sleep.

Saying that I might try make a Alexa Skill for E2 so I can say send dish 45 degrees west etc.

That’s what the remote is for o_O

Do you have to have an amazon prime account for them to work? What happens if I did drop my prime account?

You know what I have no idea! My prime is a student account lol.
I have an Amazon/Alexa developers account so would be interested to find out what happens, interesting question Chris!
I have too many remotes as it is, thinking of getting a new Logitech Harmony...

I have a Logitech remote 9 devices I think. All my devices now have apps, so I use my old iPhone 6 as a remote.

Not only can I control stuff at home I can also control stuff in my flat.

All from the one device, ok it’s iphone not a remote, but I works for me.

You have another property just for sat dishes?

I want an antenna farm :(
You got space at the side of your house, go for it :Y

For example a 4 segment coax 1090mhz aerial fits into a 1m conduit strip and the 8 segment aerial fits into the 2 m strip of conduit.

I've already got a Diamond X300 or a X510 going up and over 200ft of wire going over the common land to a tree, 3 sat dishes and 3 TV antennas hah!
