AMC-2 was 15 years old in January wasn't it? Can't be much life left in it for regular broadcasts?

0.6 degrees inclined according to Flysat. Hmm shes not really suitable for long term broadcasting at 19E.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

C band at 19 East, interesting.

I think this may be something to do with dish dimensions over Europe having been shrunk so much over the years the broadcasters are safe to use the same slot (and so their outdoor uplink kit) for feeds/data.

Plus the link budget will be so much better in the inclement weather.

Could they be planning some tests of transmitting into another area from 19E maybe?
