AMD mux 23.5E

New 4 channel mux started here, 3 channels are transmitting in English at the time of posting.

C'mon, it's over 10 dB now on my Tiny-55 dish!
But strength varies greatly sometimes, couldn't get it even with 120 cm this morning.

I get the Czech channels on 12525V ok, so it must be the DVB-S2/8PSK thats killing the AMD mux. (Yet another lashed on offset lnb!)

As AMD appear to be based in Nigeria I cant imagine the channels will be very exciting anyway so I doubt Im missing much (the Nigerian channels that have turned up on 28E have been absolutely AWFUL

Getting them at 98% here but garbled audio.

Edit changed the AAC codec to DivX v8.
audio fine now.

Haven't heard audio problems either on TBS 6925 or Dr.HD F16, maybe AAC audio i.c.m. decoding codec causes a problem?

AS actually these channels are not as bad as you hope for! Video/audio quality is fine too.

I wonder now what beam this package, and CS link 12525V really are on.
Flysat thinks everything above 12500 is Europe beam (bad for most of UK).
For AS, 12525 V should be much weaker than everything else below 12500 .

Broken cloud here and getting the mux at 75% Q on the skybox f3s 1.2 CM dish.

I thought the weak Euro beam was on Astra 3A, which had been decommissioned?

The Astra 3A "Germany" beam was hopeless here - I only ever had it a handful of times (10 degree offset on the 13E 80cm dish!)

Astra 3B seems to have 2 Euro beams according to the Flysat beams page

Wide is the good one here - blasts in at very high power. I have a feeling the "Germany" 3B beam is a fairly new addition.

Its a nice but chilly morning so when Ive had another cuppa I shall go and tweak the 23.5E lnb a little
