My Satellite Setup
A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.
My Location
UK
Most common appears to be the Scandinavian at 5 East

Most of the TV3 channels broadcast it, but in South England you will need a dish of 1.5m minimum

Which American football do you wish to see? there are quite a few possibilities.

Do you have at your home a true south facing location ? is there any obsticales in the way ?.

What budget do you want to invest?

Fox on Panamsat 43.0 west does indeed have some football from the USA but so do around another 20 channels hence the questions.

Thanks for the all the replys, firstly money isnt an object... what do you suggest, my garden is south facing, with nothing in the way, I want to watch NFL not college football, and your right it does take a while for a game to finish.

OK If money is no object Ill take what you have and bring the teams over to the UK, you do have a few $billion I trust and access to WSM stadium

Otherwise its a dish of approximately 1.5m diameter, with polarmount and motorised to get the best of the main satellites, a digital receiver with DiSEqC 1.2 positioning, and a V box converter to run to the standard actuator. This will give you access to the games shown on the free to air channels at 43 West and feeds on 21 West, 15 West and maybe 8 West.
Couple the above with a set of CAMs and either official subscription to Scandinavian TV or a generic programmer and card to get Viaccess, and/or Irdeto with maybe an official Conax Card and CAM thrown in and you probably have what most peole only dream of.

Total cost should be in the region of £1000 plus installation
