Amos 1????????????

Hello to all of you!need help regard the AMOS 1sat!can anyone tell me the setting to find Amos1,having a Samsung DSR9500 and a motorize dish!is the only one i cannot get hold of it!i am in Berks area!Any help?thanx'O'-red
 
What size dish do you have Guinness, if you look at the footprint of the European beam, for our area the EIRP is only 32db, so a big dish would be required.
 
Don't think that you will get it, see http://www.rwt.co.uk/dishsize.htm for EIRP to dish size conversion tables. Looks like a 3 metre for any sort of reception. :)

PS. Whereabouts in Berkshire Guinness, we are probably nearish neighbours.
 
I have been trying for ages to get Amos at 4 W, tried everything, not even a sniff at it, it appears to be a very weird bird [for me anyway] I have a 1mtr CM dish and live in SE london not far from Croydon, yet someone not even 10 miles away in SE london can receive it on an 80m dish. Tried going to AB3 at 5W and moving dish to get a signal, and absolutely zilch, tried in all kinds of weather, day and night, think I have given up on it.
