Amstrad DRX100 free to air channels :(

Hi, i wonder if anyone could help:

I have an amstrad drx100 box recieving free to air channels
recently the box has been "playing up". it keeps displaying the no signal can be recieved error after 5 or so mins of viewing. It has also lost a number of channels which it can no longer pick up whilst doing a channel search??

Could be a faulty tuner, they are known to suffer that fault, or it could be a faulty power supply, the latter's easy to replace, but not easy to find these days...

You might be better off finding a replacement box on ebay, it would be cheaper and easier that way... :)
 
you don't see many of those receivers around anymore. They used to suffer with tuner problems as mentioned :D

Looks like i'll be buying a new box. Probs just go whole hog and buy sky HD. couldn't find a tuner for the thing, but it is 10 years old now, i think its about time to upgrade
