Amstrad DRX890 for FTA@19.2E/26E

Hello everybody,

Would anybody be so kind to tell me if it is possible to use the Amstrad DRX890 also for other satellites besides 28.2_5E ? I am pretty sure that this isn't possible because of missing Diseqc 1.0/1.1 routines in its software, right ?

Somebody was asking for Sky reception in Athens so i recommended a 1.50m dish. Besides a Twin-LNB for 28.2_5E it might be useful to install also at least another one for 26E. Am i right to believe that this position can only be received with any other non-Sky receiver or is there a way to add some FTA stuff from 26E to the Amstrad list ?

As well as the DiSEqC issue, BSkyB boxes are also limited to 27500 and 22000 Symbol Rates for SD plus a couple more (Can't recall what!) for HD.

A very similar type of query was made earlier today, oddly enough - much of what was said in reply applies here too.
