Just Sharing This An Old Antenna

Kelso still has assorted H & X vhf tv antennas up on some premises :D
 
Lots of these in Carcassonne,some still have the VHF H-shaped structure.
I get DTT via one that s about 40 years old... So,what?
 
Some thirty odd years ago, when the bricollages in France wanted €20 - €30 for their cheapest Yagi I bunged up a £4.00 UK trade special which is still working.

The last VHF service (405 lines) was switched off at the end of 1984, the first dual / hybrid TV was introduced around 1966. So the antenna (apart from being a design I've not seen before) has been up there for at least 40 years.
