I unearthed this from the bottom of the shed earlier this week

The rating plate on the back says "60Hz" - so is it a 100-120V or 200/240V unit (could be either 100V or 200V if it was originally for the Japanese market)?

Maybe the Satellite Superstore might like it for their museum of unusual receivers?
 
I'd love to have a rummage through your shed... Any BBC Selector decoders there by any chance?!
 
There was a decoder that did come from the BBC, but it would have been before the Selector era as far as I could tell.

The Stellarvision receiver was one I used in the late 80's, so it is 240V. From memory it had similar features to the first Drake receivers but I ended up using a Gensat 4/12 shortly after as it had motor control built in, plus a remote control.
