Hello,

I have a question so answers on a postcard please,
My trusty satellite reciver is geting old so I am in the process of buying a new one. Since I have 1 meter dish I am thinking of a multi lnb dish 4-8 lnbs
1) would I be better to motorise the dish.
2) will my analouge recever still work via the lnb loop through.

any answers would be fantastic
 
get a digital reciever and a diseqc motor.you can get a good reciever,lnb and motor for under 150 euro incl. delivery.you will be able to get bbc ,itv (from tuesday) and loads of others.you can patch the kaon reciever to recieve encrypted channels.very simple procedure. sent you a link of where to get reciever ,motor ,lnb for under 150 euro .mods,can i post a link here.

Depends on the receiver - some cannot be patched. Do a search for your make & model using the search button up at the top of the forum
 
You could do a lot worse than Maplins Fortec Ultra On offer now in Ireland at 125 euros they are including a dish and bracket+lnb at that price.Easy to patch the Fortec have a look at _www.al7barsoft1.com

Thanks, do you have to have ci slots to patch a reciver and if possiable to get analouge.As said earlier eurosport is what I realy need.
 
All the eurosport channel plus TPS for the live football are open on Hotbird {at the moment} on my FTA Lidl box. What is left on analouge What Sat. do you find them on. John.
 
You can always use a priority switch to flip between Digital and Analogue boxes.
