Hey, I just wanna tell you all about a new computer I ordered from a leading catalogue.
To cut a long story short, the computer arrived yesterday but I wasn't happy with it. For a start, the plugs weren't British but the European two-pin plug. Lucky I had some old mains leads or otherwise I wouldn't have got it started.
And now the second fault. Straight out the box, plugged in, I noticed a 'dead' pulsating red pixel on the monitor. Then when I switched the 'tower' on I couldn't bear the loud fan.
I rang up to complain and the guy said he'd send out a REPAIR MAN to fix the computer, by changing the fan. Repair it? I've hardly had it 12 hours.
Anyway, the catalogue company basically said if I don't accept a repair, then 'tough, the computer is the way it is, you still have to pay for it.'
Am I heck. I don't care what their 'policy' is, that computer is not in the excellent condition I would expect from a new pc. They won't accept it back, but since I haven't paid any money for it, it's going back. And don't worry I will get a receipt.
Blinkin' cheek of it.
Thanks for reading this.
