I have sorted the original problem out. But still have a bad picture. But the picture is fine if the Aerial lead is plugged directly into the TV, as soon as it has to go past a satellite decoder or VCR then the picture on all channels goes terrible, even VHF. Had tried changing UHF setting on the decoder and VCR but it doesn't make a difference. The terrestrial picture is still bad.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Ah, weren't you going to use a combiner (reverse splitter) for several UHF/VHF aerials?

such pcture problems are commonplace, but each isetup is different, so more details would help with advice.
