any help on why im showing two symbols on my c lines when there not even on there??

running a dreambox 500s and set it up so friends and family can view ie as a server

alls fine but noticed when i go to 16001 active clients im now showing a $ and a % this tells me someone has hacked into my server as both are not in my c lines

how can i stopped this

any help welcome

Block their IP in your router.

But more importantly you need to investigate why this has happened. Also make sure your box is password protected, and that your CCcam web access is password protected.

well thanks for the reply

how can i block this ip address im useing a virgin superhub looked but not sure how too block

when changeing the password is it on the

WEBINFO or the TELNETINFO and im useing oscam

On the router I have a section within the security tab called IP address filtering. You should have a similar section in your router.

The 16001 port is usually used for CCcam and port 8888 is used for Oscam. If you can see data under port 16001 it suggests you have CCcam running.
