Any idea what these are ?

I found them at a car boot sale last week, and for 50p they were worth the new batteries inside them.

No buttons on either, except the on/off switch. When turned on, both flash a green/red LED and siren for a couple of seconds, then the green LED flashes every third of a second

The one with the key ring appears to be a motion detector as it 'trips' when moved, but the second unit (with an extendable shield above another LED) has no effect, and is not affected by the movement of the first.

Any idea ?

They are both about 3 inches by 2 by 1, and the switch is rather easy to activate/turn off, and the LED remains flashing green whenever they are on

Quite possibly, just the radio part isn't functioning, and tbh, they are a bit too large for the job.

From the size and alien design, I would hedge my bets they are a children's toy, something akin to a anti-spy/detection kit.

I wouldn't operate them too often, as in Area 51 there's a spaceship locking and unlocking it's doors. I'd watch out for M.I.B !!
