Are there any satellites that will give uk tv channels in the Algarve via a dish >
 
Yup - Astra 2 at 28E

Although no doubt you want another option :D

Intelsat 907 at 27.5W.

However the transmissions are encrypted and the keys are only intermittently available.

ATM the keys are not public so you cant watch the signals....
