Hello, am planning a new FTA receiver. The old one am using now got a very useful function, the ability to adjust and save audio volume for every stored channel.

Have not found\seen any info about this when looking on the net (& my local sat dealer don't know), anyone knows which receivers got this audio function?

Thanks

My Technomate boxes will remember the audio level, but it's only adjustable with three settings low/medium/high. I use it for a few radio stations that have high level audio (eg some Dutch stations) and some that are a little low (eg some Romanian ones).

my TM5302HD has fully ajustable audio level on each channel if you change the setting in the A/V menu, volume setting from all to each channel. this allows you to set a value to each channel from 0% to 100% regards mdt

Thanks for the info, are these the only models\brands with this audio function ?

Ah yes, I thought it might but couldn't remember off the top of my head.

Now if these could just sort out the higher volume levels of the ads & trailers between the programmes. After Ofcom intervened a while back things improved but its noticable things are creeping back.

Indeed, it's a pain sometimes. A simple, cheap user-adjustable limiter\compressor could fix that. But never seen that (yet) in any home AV devices.

Regarding user programmable audio for each channel, at least it saves one from shocks when switching from a low level to a high level channel, and dispenses of the need for doing continuous level adjustments. It's a must for me, very often switching channels (when watching news or financial stuff).

Hello, just to say I am interested in more suggestions about receivers able to store individual channel audio level.

Thanks
