Anyone open Multivision 8 on Dreambox?

Please can we have a little feedback from everyone.

Let's use the power of the forum to help us see the bigger picture.

Please ensure that you have installed the previously working 0A key, and then tell us :-
  • Which image and which version
  • Which EMU(s) and which version(s)
  • Info on any other receivers/cards/CAMs etc that you have
  • A Yes/No for each
To get the ball rolling, I have Black Tiger 3 with Newcamd V5.20. No show.

I also have a SkyStar2 with S2emu V1.08, which DOES open it.

Please post your findings here, or if you're too shy, please PM me.

Im, sure you mean open an encoded stream rather than the rolling promo. I know its trivial but often people overlook the fact that the little square top right is not lit up.

With 7200S, Hydra_Lucien, newcamd5.24 and Mary's bundle of 17.11,
I do not open M8.

Image : Hydra Angharad 108.2
Emu : Newcamd 5.24 + SCAM 31.08 ( Both Work )
No other receivers or cards
Latest RSAKeylist file.

SS2 card with 2-EMU (Mach 1 keys as explained in the PCcard section) working

Multvision 8 opens here in the Midlands with Dreambox 7000 Hydra Anagharad
All the latest cams. MV8 opened with Newcamd 5.24

:rolleyes: ...brain the size of a planet, but I can't get the stupid thing working. AND I've got this pain in all the diodes down my left hand side.

I'm gonna rip the SOB apart though until it does....

Got an old version of SCAM working, so we're OK for tomorows footy :) .

BTW I'm writing a howto for NewcamD, with all the techie difficult bits as an addon. In fact it's sort of two versions, one for the noob and one for the tech-head. Also a vanilla install and an upgrade flavour.

Regarding the write ups, way to go, can't wait to see it! Maybe it'll be the same as with the other stuff: You explain it, I'll get it working and you will be left scratching your head a la Multivision :P
 
Yeah, that's not funny. I wrote the guide, then tried it on my box, and it didn't blo-O o-O dy work! What a muppet.

Works for everything else, just not MV8 ATM. Must be the Via key file. just gotta find a modded one.

Got a load of cool stuff to include in the pro version. :)

Great Scholes goal this afternoon BTW....
