Just wondered if anyone had tested one of these.

There is one for sale in a local cable and accessories shop for €38 (about £33.5). It seems a little pricey, but I'd otherwise have to pay for postage which brings it close to online prices.

I'll be fitting it to my Penta 85.

There's a thread about the Inverto Black lower down the page, but I thought the Black was actually Black.

The Black Ultra is brilliant. Not tried the premium though. Cost 20 Euros here. And some are white.

I didnt pick that thread up in a search. I'll take a look now

I'm not sure what colour the the one I'm thinking of getting is. The guy I spoke to didnt seem to know much about it. He just told me that its an Inverto Twin, 0.2dB. When I googled that I came up with the one above.

Last week I've bin pretty busy making some Inverto Black Ultra lnb fitting to my 120 Fibo .
I've tested three , one who is modified to flange ,

one who fits directly into the Fibo feedhorn
and one original lnbf

The one who fits directly into the Fibo feedhorn performs the best .

Date : Friday 8 may 19.30 clear weather . My location 51.48 N 5.48 E
Testing on Nilesat again , last test was not o.k. did a little fine tuning ( bit less elevation)
Now on the right transponders (thanks Satan) gave the following results on Maxplus 2100S
A local sat dealer told me that TP 11.844 H is the most difficult to receive here In Nijmegen so I stick to report that one TP.

First the data with the Invacom SNF 031 0.3dB signal 91% -quality 66
Also tested with flange modded GT-QD 40D signal 97% -quality 66
With the direct 2 fibo horn modded Black Ultra signal 96% -quality 67
With the Ultra Black LNBF on home made holder signal 97% -quality 66
With the flange modded Inverto Black Ultra signal 96% -quality 66

On the Maxplus 2100 , the quality is most important , 62 % gives still a green status-bar , but no picture .

I got my hands on the Inverto Black Premium today. As stated, its not actually black in colour. I've fitted it, but I haven't gotten around to testing it against the old LNB yet,

My Satellite Setup
85cm dish for Astra 19° and Hotbird 13°, two twin ALPS LNBs (BSTE5-101A), diseqc switch SPAUN SAR 422, receivers: Toshiba HD-S1, Technotrend S2-3650-CI
My Location
Switzerland
I replaced my two twin ALPS lnbs (BSTE5-101A) with two IDLB-TWNL40-PREMU-OPP but it didn't work, "no signal" at the receivers. I have double checked everything, no change. Finally I put the ALPS back in place and it worked! When I connect the Inverto lnbs directly to a receiver I get a signal. Therefore I replaced my old FTE diseqc switch with an expensive SPAUN SAR 422, but again no signal!? Is there something special with these Inverto IDLB-TWNL40-PREMU-OPP lnbs or are they not compatible to standard diseqc switches?

I would appreciate any help, thanks!
