arabic channels

Can anyone help me please? I am new to the satellite scene and would like to receive some arabic channels! i would like to know what to use and what satellite to look at. At present i have a 1m dish and a triax receiver with 2 ci slots!

I would try Hotbird at 13.e and or nilesat at 7.w but since I do not know your location. Do first a channel search

hotbird 13 degrees would be your best bet as you need a relatively small dish for reception , your 1m is sufficient enough.as far as nilesat you would need at least 1.2m dish for a decent reception. also try arabsat at 26 degrees east, a 1m dish is just about enough to get it (presuming you live in UK). good luck !! ;-)
