welcome news indeed.
I am now starting to receive channels that where just outside of my lock up level Alkass 1 to 4 @ 12.245 V for example are now coming in at 9.0 db despite it been raining with quite strong winds. the Kuwaiti mux @ 12.523 H has shot up from 10.2 DB to 13.3 DB and Bahrain INT @ 12.226 H has gone from 6.0 DB to 9.9 DB.
I have noticed that in order to receive some of the weaker channels you have to move your dish a couple of notches which in turn weakens (and in some cases loses) some of the others channels. it may be necessary for us to have two positions stored on our systems from now on for 26East

I think the very large dishes that some of you are using 120cm to 300cm give a distorted view of the actual signal strengths that I am receiving in the South East of the UK with my 100cm dish,
When I receive more transponders from Badr-8 with my 88cm mesh dish it will give a clearer picture of what is available from 26 east.

As of last evening, I got 85 FTA TV from 26E, having historically only being able to get one TP.

80cm dish in North Yorkshire UK, iBravebox.

Haven't checked since, as not currently at home.

Can anyone confirm that 12149H has definitely moved over to BADR 8? I always struggled with this one from BADR 4, and still get exactly the same signal now (around 8-8.5db, which is just under lock. Seems strange as I've had big improvements on all other frequencies that have moved over.

12149 H 27500 @ 26 east = 66% SQ Slightly higher signal @ 25.5 east = 69% SQ 100 cm set up.

This works on a few transponders from 26 east, BBC News works better here @ 26.3 east
As for your original question has 12149 moved to Badr-8 we will get a better idea when Badr-4 is empty & moves from this position.

according to Lyngsat Badr-4 has move all transponders to Badr-8.

The key to full change over is transponder 12182 H 16200 this is supposed to change to S/R 27500 with a new frequency.

I didn't keep track of the transponders that were moved to BADR-8. The only way to see the change at 26.0E is to scan the satellite and compare two periods.
I found no change in the signal level on BADR-8 in my area today compared to 29.11 #260
