Hi guys...
Anybody know if ebay banned selling FTA S*Y cards..doing a search and not a single one showed up no matter what way I listed the search..cheers :confused:

Yes they did, although there are still some on there, but attached to second hand receivers.
 
SKy have a clampdown every so often and get ebay to delist cards. The sellers are technically selling stolen goods as the cards remain the property of sky at all times
 
That's right! S*Y are the only ones allowed to charge £20 for a free card that remains theirs :-)
 
Thanks for that guys...another of lifes little ones cleared up...buggered if I'm paying 80 euro for one over here in ireland...my mate just wants ch4. I have a card that was sent from the UK about a year and a half ago but was never activated..can it still be activated or is there a time limit for activation,my contact gave a box ID number with it when he got it but the box has since gone to the great digi box heaven in the sky...would I have to give another box ID if getting the card activated? and would that box have to be a box without a subs package?...

Get a contact in the UK to buy one for you. Dont get it activated in a box that already has a subscription on it - that would be baaad..... :)
