ArenaSat expands channel bouquet
The German DTH pay TV platform ArenaSat will expand its Arena Family bouquet on December 1 with five new channels bringing the total to twenty. The new additions are Sat.1 Comedy, kabel eins classics, Animax, lettra and The Biography Channel. The service launched in August 2006 with just seven channels.
On January 1, the price of the 20 channel bouquet will be raised to 14.90 a month, up from 9.90 euro. A combination subscription to Arena Family and the German football Bundesliga will cost 24.90 euro (up from 19.90). A stand alone football package will remain 14.90 euro.
