if the weather is good.

The first stage will be fully primed, stages 2 and 3 are just dummies for the test.

1-X is the proposed successor to the shuttle.

Launch schedule starts in a few hours. Window of opportunity is about three days.

Does anyone know if the launch will be shown on any European satellites? NASA TV on 72W looks rather impossible on paper :)

somewhat difficult in Hampshire

Launch in about 30 minutes if all goes to plan

Will look for a feed or two, but the main stream is here

And a 'planned' 20 minute delay.
 
Launch back on for approximately 13.24 UK time
 
...looks like they are having problems with some very 'low tech' ...cord and probe cover jammed..
unbelievable that this sort of thing might possibly delay everything.

BBC News should have coverage of the launch, unless something more interesting appears, but it is a slow news day.


Now a boat has appeared in the bay, where the debris might drop, so it looks like its off for now.
 
Another 90 minutes delay ...thanks to ship in launch danger zone...
unbelieveable !!!

Splendid - I'll look out for that.

Can't really cope with Interweb Streaming owing to sub-snail speed.
 
....The ships captain ...wants keel hauling ....or at the very least a good flogging .... ;)
 
I am actually watching the Nasa TV - quite successfully, surprisingly!

Looks like 13.49 is the new Tea Zero.

Eyes open, chaps.
