Art Sport Channels Poor Signal with 80cm Dish

I've recently had an 80cm dish fixed and set up on my roof with a dual lnb for astra and Hotbird. My technomate 1500 says the signal for the art sport channels is 65%. The signal is weak and pixellated.

Is this a bad set up that needs tweaking or do you need a larger dish for the art channels?

dish just needs tweaking as 80cm is fine for hotbird, as art is on hotbird 7a so should be a strong signal

65% doesn't sound that weak to me, as when I started watching Art I was only getting 54% (that's signal quality) and the picture was fine.
With my 90cm dish I'm now getting a 82% signal quality and your 80cm should not be far behind.

Do as wod says and tweak that dish, and also it might be worth while turning the LNB in the collar to see if that helps.

Strange that 65% isn't enough to maintain a strong image.

i have astra/ hotbird on a 1.1 mtr dish, but thats from the north east, so your dish should be ok from where you are, the problem is the art signal can be awkward to get sometimes, the way i get the astra and hotbird is that the dish is slightly off the hotbird and i seem to get both sats like that. the signal, although there is no percentage level on my strong 4375 i would guess it is roughly 60 to 65% and solid, at the moment it is pouring down and the signal level is still good. there is a possibility you might have a bit too much dish on astra? If i just concentrated on the hotbird signal i would sure get a better level for the art, certainly better than the 65%

just recently setup my motorised dish and its working but on art tp it is 58% signal on my technomate 1500 , 88cm dish

when checking flysat and lyngsat art has moved to hotbird 2 is this right , thought it was on hotbird 7a

bought a card for last 6 months but not used it yet as dont want to insert it and not be able to watch it
