just unpacked a 2.4, first problem instructions for assembly are non existent.
OF the 2 rings would the bigger be on the floor, or supporting the actual dish?

Their is a piece of paper with a diagram but is unreadable, and the screws and bolts don't seem to match what is suggested.

There are a couple of recent topics on the forum about this dish, both "aceb" and "s-band" installed this model for some tests. If you have a search for their topics there will probably be a lot of useful information about putting it together. They will probably pop into this topic shortly if they are browsing the forum.

The large one is the ground part. As MB says, have a look at the existing threads. Here's the link to assembling mine The C-band Tin-Dish challenge

I've attached a good .pdf of the instructions which can be enlarged quite a lot.

checked panels with a piece of string, strings were missing by more than i/2 inch, so realigned and and got
257 tv a vast improvement on the 1.8 channel master

so offers accepted for 1.8 cm with ground mount driven by 2 acuators!!!!!!!!

I doubt Fortec Star will be any better in Ku band though. Unless Ku is not of interest.
