Aston Cam v1.03 - flashable ??

I am buying an Aston cam v1.03 and it says it is flashable.
What does this mean ? If it means u can upgrade to a v1.05 why not just buy the v1.05 in the first place ?
 
It is flashable to nagravision, see the sticky at the top of the CAMs and decoders forum, it cannot however be flashed to version 1.05 as it does not have enough memory.
