In mid September 2009 a new Polish service started on a spotbeam. This was a surprise as there had not ever been any indication of restricted coverage beams in the past.

With no official information available Polish forum satkurier.com have put together this provisional footprint map

Close examination of the reflector dish configuration on the Astra 1's suggests 1KR / 1L / 1M & the forthcoming 1N all have spotbeam capabilities.
