Ah, thanks and so it's not "Sky"! - I think the 895 HD box seems to have thrown a "wobbly", so unplugged and left it for a bit and rebooted it , and now all seems to be (hopefully?) back to normal!
"Panic" over (SWMBO watches it a lot) - since this box is now over 5 & 1/2 yrs old it might be on its last legs, but I still have that "Lidl 895" (found in a waste bin outside a local Lidl a year or so ago, wouldn't work but then fully reset and then working fine!
