2.4M ChannelMaster Offset with Smart Titanium TQS LNB. LG SMART TV with SuperTrack V-Box 2 on ChannelMaster 1.2M Offset. TBS5925 tuner with EBSPro on Windows 10 laptop. Satlook Digital NIT.

If anyone has a Sky installation in Cyprus running off a 2.4m ChannelMaster Offet dish (now sold by SkyWare Global as model 243) can they please say what the present situation is with regards to reception of 2A North Beam transponders.

I am in Israel and have just set up a 2.4m model 243 with an Invacom Quad LNB and a Sky HD box and so far, despite much tweeking, have been unable to lock SkyArts2 HD on 11856V.

So far as other 2A North Beam transponders are concerned Sky2 and Sky3 with SkyArts2 (non HD) on 12226H are OK early morning and late evening. SkyArts1 HD and Sky NewsHD on 12460H are a little better as is Discovery HD on 12324V.

What's the situation in Cyprus ?
 
Can you get any 28.2 channels at all? If so which ones? Can you receive, for example,
SKY News, ITV1 (12402), Ch4 group (12480)??
 
The only problem is with 2A North Beam (of course nil also from 2D). 12402V and 12480V are no problem as they are both 2B North Beam.
 
My brother is in Cyprus and has a 2.4 metre Famaval dish. He gets most channels, but NOT SKY Arts2 (non HD). It used to be there until early June, now gone. Don't know why.
But be re-assured, you are receiving what you should receive on your set-up.

Many thanks for the info. Maybe 2A is failing early ?
