Ah you are in central Slovakia - thats not particularly favourable for Astra 2D reception!

Sounds as if a Slingbox solution might need to be considered.

i have no idea about vertical or horizontal, lol, so i nned a 3m or a 5m???

Also, if 2d is an issue for me in central slovakia, whats the next best thing.

2a, or should i get rid of the pace 2600 and get a humax hd and look to freesat as opposed to sky???

No point getting Freesat as the difficult Channels to get are exactly the same ones .... it's just the EPG that differs.

Ergo, see my comment above about Slingbox.

The best thing to do is move to western Europe!

Which channels are you SPECIFICALLY most interested in watching?

They are basically a place-shifting device. The SB is hosted at friend or family in western Europe and the channels slung across the internet via broadband connections.

You watch on the receiver or your computer in Slovakia.

The downside is you need a fast upload at the remote location - a standard 350kbps upload speed isnt anywhere near suitable..

Moving is out of the question lol, if it were that easy.

I just want free to view or free to air.

BBC1, BBC2 ITV1 ,C4,C5, ITV1, ITV2, E4, These would suffice lol

miss tv so much, damn it!
