The beacon is there, but we dont know the frequency. You cannot see it using crazyscan, you need a radioscanner.

Interesting thought!

Mind you, there were a few lulls in Ku Band Testing, so maybe that was due to Ka Band tests?

It's a shame SES/Astrium don't publish Chapter and Verse on such things, but I can understand why. Apart from us hobbyists, the new Bird is totally invisible to mainstream punters in the intended reception area.
