1,25x1,40 movable alu dish now pointing Astra 2 off center Astra 3
75cm center Astra 1 off center HotBird.
More to come
My Location
Preveza West Greece
If they use receiving pattern like Amos then we will be out of everything.middle east spot is useable only at south and southeast Greece, and Central European footprint is watchable at western ,north western Greece.at the middle and because of the reuse of frequencies it is impossible or matter of luck to receive anything ( interference from both spots).so British expats will turn in other ways (ip) for receiving tv

Taken from this document, " The permanent orbital location for Astra-2E, which is licensed by Luxembourg, will be 28.2° E.L. The in-orbit testing location will be 43.5° E.L. "

The frequencies mentioned herein refer to the telecommand and telemetry for transfer to orbit.

With the tighter beams I would have thought Moscow would have ended up with less channels not more!

I think only Astra 2G will help get some channels back, assuming Sky use this satellite. Astra 2E and 2F are not good for Russia.

I think 2F Euro beam is still receivable in parts of Russia - at least that's what I've seen on some Russian forums.
