I'm just east of Munich city (Trudering).
With a generic 1m dish and single LNB, we barely get Ch5/BBC1 through the day. Indicated SNR peaks at 3,0..4,0dB. Disappears like a fart in a fan factory during the evening.
Great to hear Steve Steve's positive report from a similar location. Does anyone to the South and East of Munich have a "150 Gibby" they want to offload?

@Gigioman, at 20.30 lost BBC HD (19.00) but still (just) surviving on SD! The Sky box shows about 20% signal (the E2 boxes show 6.5dB 39%/65% which is sitting on the limit! So much for Sky!!! Although I have to say Sky tuner is coping better...... can't be right!

So I am about 60 mins North of you (by car), so I think you need to watch what happens over the nex few weeks before spending money. Without doubt if you can install a Gibby 150 then it is the solution, but a 125 might be OK for most of the day.

Location - Savoie, French Alpes 45.6°N 6.8°E. Old Sky 60cm dish - actual size approx 60x70cm.

So far no problems receiving any 28°e channel here. Will check again during heavy rain forecast in next 24 hours.

So end of the day summary....
BBC HD lasted 7 -> 19.00
BBC SD lasted 7 -> 20.00 although after 20.00 it never lost signal, but picture was pixielated (sound was OK)...
Weather - clear cold skies.

So in good conditions, a gibby 125 is just on the edge, about .5 dB short of retaining good picture.

it is possible!
11222 here + 2dB!
11222H is a little stronger than usual (about +1dB here to 6.2dB ) but I'm still getting it on an 80cm dish in Helsinki... no chance of getting a decent 2E signal like that. (Strongest 2E Europe 11778H is currently 1.5dB but gets stronger in the afternoons)

Edit: Looking at my readings from the last couple of days 11222H has been stronger for all the past readings compared to last month. Could this have anything to do with 28B leaving? Surely it wasn't on 28B and has switched back to 28A??
