Well south of Alicante is Alicante-Torrevieja. If a 1m dish is not working there it is because it is not installed properly (like most of them).

Would you expect a 1m high gain dish to be able to get a picture in San Miguel de Salinas?

It might do, we have only had 4 reports from round Torrevieja so far, and 110 is the smallest success so far.

I tried, but I only have a satcatcher meter that doesn't support dvb-s2 and a sky box, so I don't think I can try anything at this stage....

Here in Lower Normandy, France 11023 H is 99% SNR on a TD88 using a Vu+ Solo.....in heavy rain. Appears no different to transponders from 1N....

Yes it is stable and it is a motorised dish with the LNB skewed for the arc (not -7.5º). Dish belongs to Woborny. And I get it here, 100km further south, on the Fibo 90.

@Torrevieja, what satcatcher meter have you got? Doesn't matter that it is DVB-S only. Check BBC2 England transponder (10773H). If the dish is set up right you should have at least 8.8dB C/N on a Satcatcher.

just noticed since 30min ago a sudden drop of 10% from the signal ..been using a fixed very well set channel master 1.80 since yesterday to monitor the situation

just noticed since 30min ago a sudden drop of 10% from the signal ..been using a fixed very well set channel master 1.80 since yesterday to monitor the situation

No change here - still on the stops at 99%, although its cold & clear here atm

but the cable is also going through a diseqc switch - so bit of loss there

100% stable here on the 90cm and the same SNR as last night. In the days of 2D this would have been considered excellent daytime signal on a 1.8m dish.

And the LNB is skewed for the arc on this dish, not Astra.

Right now on the 90cm 7.7dB; on the LH110 8.6dB; and on the 1.8m 12.4dB; using the Emitor Color HD.
