Africa (Not much point in specifying which bits!) now included in this Topic.
 
On November 27, 2012, MultiTV will undergo a frequency change due to satellite upgrade. This change will require customers to input the newFREQUENCY (12522) and new SYMBOL RATE (27.000) and rescan their digiboxes in order to receive services on the new frequency. The upgrade will extend MultiTV’s coverage beyond West Africa into parts of Southern Africa. Please note, however, that those with auto rescan boxes will only have to turn it ON and OFF to receive the new service.
Please identify your box and follow the rescanning instructions below according to digibox type.

Probably - and it'll be interesting to see if they interfere in any way with the UK channels on 12523V in the Canaries

Heart, Capital, Massive RnB and Clubland are the main channels likely to be of interest on that freq..
 
unless SKY are leaving E28A and going to 2F themselfs ????

Sky has little to do with many of these channels (apart from supplying the epg info) - Arqiva deals with many of the Eut-28A channels

A similar frequency sharing system already exists on several satellites 16 east for example with no reception issues,

you miss the point we get E28A SUPER BEAM here and MAY also get the other beam AS WELL - AT THE SAME TIME
 
But E28 Super is 46db or more where you are. The WA beam drops off steeply and won't anywhere near as strong where you are. Check the footprint maps.

are they the new ASTRA 2F WEST AFRICA BEAM footprints your looking at ???
1500km from here you can use a 1m dish for UK BEAM in north spain
1500km from here you can use a 1m dish for WA in dakar Senegal
 
Yes was looking at the same map and comparing it with Eutelsat 28A Super Beam as you stated.​

These two as far as i know work also on smaller dishes:

Most of the above according to their footprint come close to you but are they really receivable ?

I can understand your interest but 99 percent of large dishs here are FIXED on 28e and have a SKY boxes on them . they are there for people to get BBC/ITV and nothing else . due to the nature of life it is quite rare to find anyone into DX TV ...

Anyway, the opposite is also possible: "Astra 1KR/1L/1M/2C at 19.2°E loud and clear here in Enugu with 7m pan dish."
