Astra 2F: European Beam Transfers Starting?

If they were on the 2F UK spot I would expect to see a small peak on the spectrum, but its pretty flat more like the north beam!!!

Yes but you can get them with a HD box or maybe in other channels on another Frequency - Seems they have moved a lot of North beam channels but also south beam as well,

Could just be a technical issue with them moving 2F around and it's blocking the signal here or something as it's working in Malaga yet they can't get 2F.

I noticed my SKY HD box was in standby this morning but the channels above are still ok here...but they would be as I am well within the footprint for the PE beam.......

Yes 24/7, for example 11023 about 83% snr in the morning and 69% snr at its worse 18:00-22:00 in the evenings on the vu+. Just checked on the vu+ and skynews in sd is at only 70% SNR skysports2 also at 77% snr........ hmmmmmmm but all the other sd and hd sky sports channels range between 82-92 %Snr...dunno whats going on really

This confirms they have moved to Pan European beam which we can not get in Canary Islands.

Pick tv, Picktv+1, sky news sd , ss2 sd, sky1 sd, sky2 sd.....all at about 69-70%SNR on vu+

Don't forget that the next move was supposed to be 2A/B onto 2E. Maybe an early move has been forced on SES (2A/B deterioration?) and they have made an intermediate move to 1N.

Astra 1N is fine here, Always has been, For sure they have gone to 2F European beam, Portugal and Spain are fine,

Costa Del Sol and Portugal (South) can't get 2F spot beam but they can get PE beam.

Here in Lisbon all well. The channels that have migrated are fine. Not quite as strong as the ones in 1N but nearly as much.15.35db as opposed to 17.45db using a 1.80m dish.
