Canal Digitaal will not let me subscribe to their services unless I have a Dutch address and a Dutch bank account, so this is the end of this project.
That is a bit strange, as I understood that the possibility of having a 'foreign' address and banking account was allowed for CanalDigitaal, since a year or so. But I may be wrong, of course.

You have your info from CanalDigitaal, directly?

This is what I thought.
They have this subscription form to subscribe directly from their website, but as you can see, the number of countries is limited to what seems to be EU countries only.
Canal Digitaal | TV via Satelliet en Internet | Thuis en op vakantie
Then I contacted them directly and today I received their answer.
BTW if anyone is interested, their 2-years contract saves a lot of money as the hardware is free (receivers, CI+ Module, etc.)

So, subscription country and delivery country are limited.
An easy way would be out of the question for you, then :(.
That's a pity....

Thanks. Looking at the bright side, I saved some money which I need for other things.
It's their loss because I could have brought many customers to subscribe if only they showed more flexibility.
I wonder what will happen when the UK won't be part of the EU. I suppose they will not offer subscriptions then.

Same problem as with Canal Digitaal
I must have an Austrian address and bank account.
Funny enough the only channel I can receive from Europe Wide Beam is Mezzo HD.
The website looks very similar to the Dutch one. Must be the M7 Group design
HD Austria - Einfach Mehrsehen

Seems like you are very restricted then to what you can receive and then who ships to Israel .. you need to find an independent that is willing to help you get somewhere . Can you receive 31.5 West ? Orange Romania has the channel in its package .

I am going to give this project a rest for a while. Wasted too much time chasing just one channel. I have Mezzo SD from 7E.

31.5°E should be receivable in Israel on an 80cm dish according to Satbeams.

Orange Romania has Mezzo (SD) and Mezzo Live (HD) for 12 € per month.

Thanks. Will look into this possibility.
How can I subscribe? I will probably face the same problem again with ordering and payment.

Yes I’m not sure, your best bet will be if they offer a prepaid option. I don’t know if they do though.

It’s not one you come across over here in the UK as 31.5°E isn’t easy to receive! The Romanian population here seem to use Telekom (39°E) or Digi TV or Focus (1°W) from the dishes I’ve seen. All I know is that the Romanian subscription prices seem very cheap by Western European standards!
