Desde el año pasado (diciembre 2016), toca la renovacion del alquiler de los tp's tanto en Astra como en Hispasat, la decision se tiene que tomar en 6 meses de forma oficial.
Desde 2016, Movistar.+ esta realizando ofertas muy buenas/agresivas para pasar clientes de satelite a ADSL/Fibra optica en general (F.O.).
De esta forma esta bajando el numero de abonados al satelite y poder tener mejores ofertas para el nuevo contrato de alquiler de transpondedores al tener menos abonados que lo utilicen,
Las nuevas altas al satelite solo se dan al Astra.
Algunos creemos que la decision ya esta tomada (Astra a 19'2ºE).
Movistar.+ esta llamando oficialmente (mayo) a los abonados que tienen Hispasat y orientar la antena al Astra, los receptores que no sean compatibles, los cambian por uno nuevo (SD).
Tambien tienen en promocion por Astra (de forma general) cambiar los receptores normales (SD) por un modelo basico HD (Iplus) sin la opcion de grabacion.
