Astra2+Astra1+Hotbird with one 1m dish

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a triple LNB solution to get 28.2E, 19.2E and 13E all on the same one meter dish.

Already got astra 2 and astra 1 and will try hotbird tomorrow. The dish is pointing at 28.2E with good reception in all bbcs and itvs. Astra1 lnb sits on the left, looking from behind the dish and slightly lower than astra 2 lnb. I get most of the channels on astra 1 with good reception but there is a great diference between horizontal and vertical polarisation channels with the latter having more than 25% signal than the horizontals. I have 52-59% for vertical tranponders but only 23-30% for horizontal ones.
I spent a lot of time aligning the lnb for 19.2 but could not increase the signal on the horizontal channels. Anybody knows why does this happens?

I'm presuming that you are not in the UK, but would guess that Astra 19.2 and Hotbird are higher in elevation than Astra 28.2, the LNB for Astra 19.2 should be slightly lower, but you also need to look at the skew angle, more so with 13 East.

I'm in Portugal, i tried to update my profile but an error appeared.

Yes, the lnb for 19.2 is lower and more close to the dish than the one for 28.2E. I have not tried hotbird yet, maybe tomorrow if the rain stops. I've also adjusted the skew but could not achieve the desired result. Tomorrow i will try another lnb and see if that makes any diference.
