Astra2 problems . No BBC or ITV

I am having a major problem with Astra 2 .
I live in Sligo in Ireland and I have a Sky line box. I have lined the dish up to the proper satellite setting 28.2e. I get an excellent picture but no BBC or ITV, Channel 4 etc., just says ‘no signal’. In fact I get none of the first 500 channels.
Some reception starts at 380 but all it is a caption ‘Servicios Digital’ then from 420 a lot of scrambled channels. Reception proper starts at 498 Vivolta and from then on a lot of foreign channels including Sky News Al Jezeera etc.
The box is set at:
LNB type Universal - 22k OFF - DisEqc Disabled - Positioner NONE - Polarity V.
I hope this information can produce some polite suggestions!!

It would appear you have lined up on Astra1 @ 19e. Dish needs re-aligning 9° in a Easterly direction and elevation lowered a tad.

No you haven't, as SMM says, twiddle the dish round and down a bit.
 
Thanks for the advice,lads. Sat on the roof of my cottage in the west of ireland for two hours, tweaking the dish. Hot a hint of a signal on BBC or ITV. Just a perfect picture from 500 on. Still the view was great!
I've lost count of the number of contacts I've questioned on this but no luck whatsoever!
