I wonder if they forgot about Doppler effect? The faster it goes, the slower the signals get, so, they lose tracking... :D

And if they can't monitor it, how can they have confidence that it will return to the surface in the Pacific.

I can just picture a Samoan fisherman wearing Bicycle Clips and Brown Trousers.

Is that before or after he gets speared by this craft?

One would assume the manufacturers would have built some sort of 'soft landing' auto system into the craft before launch, just in case the inevit..........

Ahhhhh the old “here, there” problem.

I had that problem once with my “Beer over the internet” device. (I'm still working on it guys, relax)..

One day I decided on fresh eggs for breakfast instead of cereal, when I opened the eggs they had 3 shells (one inside the other), I looked back at the chickens and they shrugged, I then went and checked the digression loop in the internet transfer device and found a ton of Tachyons all piled up in one corner, (I installed a drain) now those of you that may be in the know, will understand that Tachyons and Dark Matter don’t mix, I found out that I had been stuck in a time loop and the chickens had laid that same eggs 3 times, no wonder they were mad at me.

So they (the government) need to know that when you get closer to C then things outside the craft slow down, so on ground radar what should be “here” is really “there”, last time I had a problem like that I blew a hole in Siberia in 1908, found out about it in 1899 due to time/space displacement, I sent a letter but no one replied.
