thanks for info

we are in murcia region
regards:cool:

Its on Astra 2d verticals - so if he can get BBC1, ITV2,3,4 then he should be able to get ATR.
ATR is part of the news and events mix.

ATR is on 12304H which is 2B north according to Flysat.

The 2D version was an ATR interactive service on 10876V but has vacated this in a sky clearout and is now also on 2B North 12304H

Apologies.
damn lyngsat!
It had ATR and ATR Interactive on that 2d frequency yesterday when i looked...! This morning that that frequency has gone!
So not too sure about north beam reception in the murcia area.

Which is better, Lyngsat, flysay, kingofsat or another for uptodate frequencies?

Depends on how often they are able to update and how effective their moles are. Often the same people spotting stuff and reporting it.

I always check two or all three of them in cases of doubt.

KofS is currently up-to-date with the ATR streams. There are three ATR TP's (all at present showing reruns).

PID PMT 269,270, and 1356 PMT PID 258.

I would surmise 269 will be the interactive channel when racing proper begins later on.

May not be an interactive channel until tonight (Wolverhampton), as there's no UK racing on ATR this afternoon, probably only Irish bog-trotters.

I am having trouble with Astra 2B North on 12.304. Is there any stronger transponder with ATR?

No sign of 12304 H here on the 1.5m.

i have it loud and clear here with CM1.80 and Gib 1.50

What receiver are you using? My vantage is terrible on the north beams, but it's all I have set up right now on the Gibi. Maybe the high power signals from the south beam overload it. Either way it's crap on north beam signals that are easy on a Pace 2600.

Edit: Just tried a Pace. Nothing on that either, but it's raining at the moment.

And on my 80cm near Gandia (20kms north of you guys!) it, and ESPN, and Sky Vegas, are popping in on an Amstrad DRX550 (not on the pace 440 or 445) on an 80cm dish...(albeit with an inverto black on there!) and it is raining..some of the other north beams are starting to reappear now also...
Have always found this and 12480, both north beams, to be particulary strong in this area with almost 24/7 reception, whereas other norths beams are at their weakest at 5pm time...and on the 80cm not available from 1pm until about 11pm ish.

Can 20kms difference really make a difference in an 80 getting it and a 1.5m are not getting it !!

i´m using a Vu+duo m8,do you have a long run cable??

I am using a Dreambox 600 and no 2b North at the moment. Going to try again tomorrow if it dosen't rain. 1.3M dish so maybe I am being greedy!!!

In Ipswich? You'll get 2B North on a Sky 45cm dish there

I've heard the tuner in them is supposed to be excellent.

About 15-20 metres but I have checked at the dish. BER is the same at the LNB and at the receiver.

More than 20 km mate (see below). I find from Javea going north getting 12480 V is easy 24/7 on an 80cm dish. Down here it is part time on a 1.5m dish. Other north beams are harder. For example to receive Sky Sports News requires at least a 1.8m, and a 2.4m for 24/7 reception. Going south it gets easier again from Gran Alacant, but nowhere near as easy as Javea up. In Torrevieja 1.2m seems to be becoming the de facto size for 2D vertical reception and most of those dishes struggle to get the north beams.

Javea

Gandia

Alicante

Longitude: -0.4810°

Great circle distances
Javea - Gandia 36.45 km
Alicante - Gandia 73.87 km
Javea - Alicante 74.87 km
